Hi! I’m Melanie Nowak, a completely independent author. I not only write my books, but I also edit, format, publish, and do all of my own cover art. I pour my heart and soul into my series, and I hope you enjoy it!
I am a happily married mom of 2 sons, and I hold a Teaching Degree and a Master’s in Library and Information Science.
Originally from Long Island, I now live with my family on a peaceful mountaintop in the forest of upstate New York. I’ve always had a vivid imagination, a fascination for the paranormal, and for making up stories. Acting and singing are loves of mine as well. However, upon conceiving the idea for my ALMOST HUMAN series in 2003, I discovered a previously unknown passion for writing! Now I put my overactive imagination to good use, creating characters I love, and I get to play all of the parts!
