I hope you’ve been loving this series as much as I do. I do have one regret though… If you’ve been keeping up with the 8 books I’ve released so far, you know that all of them have varying degrees of action, humor, drama, angst, and romance. The romance…it can get pretty spicy. There’s a fairly high heat level in all of the books…well, except for Book 1…until now.
Here’s the thing. I know that everyone reading book 1 is yelling at Cain and Felicity for half the book saying “just do it already!” but she wasn’t ready yet. I really didn’t think it would be fair to her to push her into something she wasn’t prepared for just because the book was coming to an end. BUT I do understand that without any spice, book 1 isn’t really a fair representation of the series as a whole. It’s unbalanced. Readers should know what they’re getting into. So, I have found a way to turn up the heat a bit without compromising Felicity’s morals and give readers a little appetizer for what’s to come. I’ve added about 4 pages of new bonus content to book 1 without changing the story at all. In fact, I think I’ve managed to, rather seamlessly, slide it right in there (um…pun intended.)
